So, when I was a kid, I hated thunder and lightning storms...and the part that scared me, was the part that couldn't even hurt us...the thunder.
Tonight, right smack dab in front of my house, there was the cooolest T&L storm...literally it was right in front of me...sometimes over my head. SCARY...I went inside after that. But it was cool to see the storm pass in front of me...I actually took some pictures...now, they aren't great, because well I am not a photographer...
There was one thundering that almost knocked me off my feet, it was so loud. whew...That one picture looks like it hit the house...crazy!

I was really sad I missed that. I heard it, but I was inside with YW and couldn't abandon my cookie-making post. I must say that I was mightily disappointed. I really wanted to go out, watch the lightening, listen to the thunder, and stand in the rain. Oh well, I am sure I will be amply blessed for keeping my post.

and they weren't even the cool ones that I saw.
You're pictures are cool...but nothing beats Charlie having the !Q&*# scared out of him when the lightning hit both fields on either side of the house! He came back in white as a sheet and said he saw his life pass before his eyes! I laughed til I almost passed out!
